UCR Health has a career opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing patient‑centric healthcare to our pediatric patients. The primary work location will be at La Quinta outpatient Clinic, with flexibility to work at other sites as needed. The role is performed independently and in collaboration with attending physicians to provide clinical expertise and care for complex patients by taking detailed medical histories, performing examinations, interpreting test results, making diagnoses, referrals, and implementing ambulatory treatment.
The practitioner provides patient/family education promoting health maintenance, well‑child assessments, and patient safety in a pediatric setting. Care is delivered to patients from newborn to 21 years of age. The clinician collaborates with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient flow, meet quality indicators, and participates in overall patient‑care coordination. The nurse practitioner works closely with Medical Assistants and provides back‑office guidance.
Care is evidence‑based and guideline‑based, aligned with specialty standards and California Board of Registered Nursing requirements.
The full salary range for the Nurse Practitioner‑Pediatrics is $ – $ annually; the expected pay scale is up to $181,000 annually. Base salary offers consider education, licensure, certifications, experience, and business needs.
