Responsibilities
Responsible for covering clinical offices based on operational need. Assists in the examination and treatment of patients, takes vital signs, records patient charges and history, assists in minor office procedures, participates in patient education, communicates effectively, functions within the scope of practice. Requires thorough knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques. Must work at varied locations.
Education and experience: High school diploma or GED required. Current California licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Graduate of accredited school of Licensed Vocational Nursing. Two years’ experience preferred working as an LVN in a multi-specialty group setting.
Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Current California LVN License, Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association Certification and IV Certification required. Current ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association preferred.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
