- You will assume 24-hour responsibility for assigned patient care areas and promote professional practice, and coordinate patient care activities in areas of administration, clinical, and human resources.
- This position requires an advanced level of management expertise as demonstrated through leadership, departmental functioning and educational preparation.
- You will encourage and consistently reinforce staff compliance with organizational policies, safety regulations, infection control procedures, ethics and compliance, risk management activities, standard precautions and proper body mechanics.
- You will identify and take responsible steps to ensure compliance with all licensure, certification, accreditation and legislation that regulates and impacts the operations of the department and staff.
- You will meet productivity standards and operate within departmental budget guidelines.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
- BSN required, MSN preferred.
- Valid California RN license required.
- Current CPR Course C required; national RN Certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years recent experience in acute care/ management preferred.
