Job Description
Responsible for covering clinical offices based on operational need. Assists in the examination and treatment of patients: take vital signs, record patient charges, record patient history, and assist in minor office procedures. Participates in patient education and communicates effectively with patients and staff, operating within the scope of practice. Maintains thorough knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques. Works at varied locations as required.
EssentialFunctions
Functions in the LVN scope of practice and Riverside Medical Clinic policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring all expired sample medications and patient supplies are discarded upon expiration. Maintains current California LVN licensure and BLS certificate.
QualificationsEducation:
High‑school diploma or GED required. Current California licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Vocational Nursing. Two years’ experience preferred in a multi‑specialty group setting.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Current California LVN license;
Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals (AHA BLS Healthcare) certification and IV certification required. Current ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred.
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
