About This Role

The Sp Unit Staff RN provides professional nursing care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse who excels in leadership and patient care within a critical care environment.

• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure effective documentation of nursing processes and interventions.
• Discuss patient findings and progress with healthcare team members.
• Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Organize work to minimize overtime and assist in system improvements.
• Mentor and coach others in unit-specific operations and patient care activities.

Education:

• Registered Nurse License (California)

Experience:

• 1-year recent experience in a Critical Care, DOU, or SDU setting

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Basic Arrhythmia course required
• Ventilator training required
