Job Description

Eagle Animal Hospital is looking for a FULL time and PART time kennel assistant for our RIVERSIDE location. We are looking for a motivated, friendly and compassionate animal lover! Shifts include weekends and holidays. Shifts consist of availability for 6-3pm; 7-4pm; and 8-6pm. Weekends and holidays are 7-12pm and 3-6pm. Must be available for these shifts. Once weekend day a week is required.

Hours vary from 11-25 hours weekly.

The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic, highly-motivated, up-beat, organized, and have a true passion for caring for animals.

The responsibilities would include the care, feeding, bathing, record keeping and the cleanliness of cages, runs and ward areas, exercising of all pets in the boarding facilities and daily grooming of pets. Work requires lifting and carrying animals and food bags (will be assisted by other staff members in lifting animals over 40 lbs). Walks or stands for extended periods or time;

frequently works in a bent position. Hospital duties would include laundry, dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, removing animal waste from hospital grounds, and other cleaning duties as assigned. This position will include weekends along with some holiday shifts.

Experience is preferred, but not required as we will train the right candidate.
