Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector A – Digital Radiographic Inspection – Riverside, CA

• Set up and operate equipment to perform Ultrasonic NDT inspections in accordance with approved work instructions.
• Use verbal and written instructions such as procedures, repair work orders, technique sheets, engineering drawings, etc., to plan and perform inspection operations.
• Set up & operate tooling and equipment, making offsets and adjustments to ensure valid test results.
• Perform checks and calibrations of test process media to maintain test integrity.
• Finish inspection operations and complete related documentation as per customer & company policies and procedures.
• Inspect parts for material defects and irregularities, interpret test results and accept parts that meet applicable standards.
• Identify non‑conformance based on location size, orientation, and pattern as per established criteria.
• Identify recurring inspection issues and recommend changes in methods or equipment to eliminate errors.
• Perform routine servicing throughout the assigned area to ensure TPMs and equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with technical support groups and provide technical leadership to develop & experiment with new techniques for new or revised parts or equipment.
• Generate or develop procedures and work‑process documentation to support the Quality Organization.
• Perform equipment standardization, prepare parts and conduct performance checks in accordance with appropriate work‑process standards.
• Support the department and employee development as assigned.
• Refer problems to Level III or Team Leader as needed to resolve difficulties.
• Complete required documentation of completed NDT inspections.
• May be assigned additional duties within scope and skill level of this job description.

• High School diploma or equivalent and 5+ years experience in NDT Digital Radiographic Inspection OR an Associate Degree in a related field and 3 years experience in the same activities.
• Documented required hours of formal training per Rohr Inc.’s (a Collins Aerospace Company) procedure for Qualification & Certification of Nondestructive Test Personnel.
• Certified to at least Level2 in NDT Radiographic Inspection, Digital and Film.
• Preferred:
  Experience with North Star Imaging equipment and software.
• Additional experience in Ultrasonics and Liquid Penetrant desirable.

Computed Tomography/Digital Detector Array (CT, DDA) Inspection, Computed Radiography (CR) utilizing DURR software, and NDT methods used at the Riverside Facility.

Estimated base salary: $90,521.60 USD per year.
