Quality Control Manager

, ensuring reliable propulsion for rail vehicles across North America.

As we expand our team to support exciting new projects and deliver smart solutions for modern transit, we are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our organization.

• Develop and implement quality control processes, inspection plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor and analyze product quality metrics throughout all stages of production.
• Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and quality requirements, including ISO 9001 and GMP, as applicable.
• Train production and QA/QC staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
• Continuously improve quality systems and recommend process and quality improvements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation and records.
• Evaluate and approve incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Communicate frequently and effectively with Hyundai Rotem headquarters in Korea.
• Support quality-related activities associated with ongoing and new projects.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and applicable regulatory and industry standards.
• Experience with quality inspection, testing, documentation, and process improvement.
• Proficiency with quality management software and ERP systems is a plus.
• ISO 9001 Auditor and/or CQE certification is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual Korean language skills are preferred.

• This position may require regular work on the production floor.
• Some travel may be required for supplier audits and quality investigations.
• Frequent communication and coordination with Hyundai Rotem headquarters in Korea will be required.
