The Kids Interaction and Neuro Development (KIND) Lab at the University of California, Riverside is seeking a part‑time lab manager to join us in Winter 2026. The lab uses brain imaging, physiological, eye tracking, and behavioral methods to examine emotional development and social learning in typically developing children and children with disruptive behavior and anxiety. We then link these processes with real world consequences across mental health, well‑being, and clinical outcomes.

The lab manager will coordinate multiple aspects of intensive research projects, including participant recruitment, data collection, stimulus development, programming of behavioral and neuroimaging experiments, and maintenance and analysis of behavioral and neuroimaging data. The lab manager will also provide general research support, such as coordinating lab meetings, managing teams of research assistants, assisting with IRB and grant proposal generation, maintaining study databases and lab documentation, and authoring manuscripts for publication.
This is an initial six‑month appointment with the option for renewal pending available funding, operational needs, and successful performance. This is a part‑time position at a 50% appointment. The full salary range for the Lab Manager is $25.06 - $29.60 per hour, with the expected pay scale for this position at $25.06 - $26.74 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for staff.
