Position Summary

Sam's Club – Associate (Front‑Line Service) at 6363 Valley Springs Pkwy, Riverside, CA. The role focuses on customer service, sales, and store operations, ensuring the area is maintained and secure.

• Handle returns, zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise, identify shrink and damages.
• Provide member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing receipts, acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchase decisions and locating merchandise.
• Maintain self‑checkout area, resolve member issues, promote Sam’s Club products, provide guidance on self‑service technology, process purchases, payments, returns, refunds and exchanges.
• Secure and safeguard assets by monitoring for potential criminal activity, maintaining logs, executing emergency response procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices.
• Assist in training new associates on processes, technology, and program rollouts, and deliver continuous learning opportunities.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and the Open Door Policy.
• Manage work assignments proactively, identify priorities, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change.

• Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
• Experience working with mobile retail applications.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $27.00 per hour, with potential premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work.
