Compensation
Pay Range: $21.68 - $26.50. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses or premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, and multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Key Responsibilities- Direct team members to provide customers with prompt, courteous, and professional service to maximize sales.
- Sollicit orders, sell company products, and represent the company in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain and grow a customer base, increase sales volume at assigned accounts, and review customer needs to gain market share.
- Communicate with and coordinate sales call efforts with the Territory Sales Manager.
- Supervise work performed by all store team members and collaborate with the District Manager in recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging team members.
- Utilize Scheduling & Timekeeping recommendations to develop and post work schedules for each pay period and review team member timecards for accuracy.
- Ensure store team members continually improve skills through company training on policies, procedures, customer service, computer operations, catalogs, sales, and safety.
- Work with the Sales and Pricing Departments (with assistance of district manager) to establish pricing levels for professional customers.
- Maximize gross profit on outside purchases and monitor non‑competitive price overrides and matches to ensure policy compliance and profitability.
- Ensure the store is organized and operates according to all company policies and procedures.
- Communicate new information received from the company to all team members as necessary.
- Implement all planogram changes and merchandising plans as outlined.
- Provide accurate and timely stock adjustment recaps to the Inventory Control Department.
- Accurately handle all daily store accounting functions, including sales reports, bank deposits, cash drawer management, processing checks, etc.
- Monitor charge accounts, address past‑due situations, and coordinate with the Territory Sales Manager and credit department.
- Implement loss prevention procedures across billing, cash refund, credit, stock transfer, warranty, key control, and shoplifting prevention.
- Maintain store vehicles and schedule daily/monthly inspections.
- Report property/building needs using the MARS system or to the District Manager.
- Attend the Annual Managers' Conference and perform all other duties as assigned.
- Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, Manager Development Program module.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Well organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems.
- Certified Parts Professional Certification.
- ASE certification.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
