Job Overview

As a Fine Jewelry Sales Colleague, you will provide outstanding customer service in our Fine Jewelry and Watch Complex, creating shopping experiences that make customers feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued. You will bring elegance, expertise, and personalized service to every interaction, helping customers find the perfect piece to celebrate life's special moments.

• Provide exceptional customer service and consultative selling to help customers select products that suit their tastes, preferences, and budgets.
• Promote Macy’s loyalty and warranty programs and assist customers in opening credit accounts.
• Support inventory and fulfillment activities, including proper processing, presentation, organization, storing, and replenishment of stock.
• Ensure security, accuracy, and impeccable presentation of merchandise, and maintain a shoppable space.
• Participate in special events, vendor training, and product launches to achieve sales and client retention goals.
• Use point‑of‑sale tools and digital shopping tools efficiently to streamline transactions.
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals and client protection plan targets.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with regular, dependable attendance.
• 1–2 years of related fine‑jewelry or luxury‑retail experience.
• Strong communication skills – able to understand and convey product information to customers and colleagues.
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English.
• Proficiency using point‑of‑sale technology and digital tools for transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales, achieve client loyalty, and maintain an organized, shoppable space.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced retail environment.

• Talk, lift, stand, and move constantly; stand for at least two hours, lift up to 25 lb., stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level.
• Require clear vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers, handheld equipment, and cash registers to process transactions.

Full‑time colleagues are typically scheduled 30 or more hours per week; part‑time colleagues are scheduled 12–24 hours per week. All schedules include weekend shifts. Hours are based on business needs and colleague availability.
