Job Description

Full‑time Store Customer Service Representative – responsible for handling phone and in‑person orders, stocking ingredients, and maintaining store cleanliness.

• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Provide orientation and training on the job.

• You must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas.
• Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
• Fumes from food odors.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

• Standing – most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• Walking on surfaces such as ceramic tile, bricks, or linoleum with work surfaces between 36″ and 48″ high.
• Lifting bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds using a hand truck.
• Carrying loads such as large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), and trays of dough (≈12 lb per tray).
• Pushing or pulling trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 lb of force.
• Forward bending and kneeling for 30–45 s at a time continuously during the day.
• Crouching or squatting occasionally when stocking shelves or cleaning low areas.
• Reaching regularly up to above 72″, down, or forward for tasks such as operating ovens or shelf organization.
• Frequent hand tasks requiring eye‑hand coordination and use of forearms and wrists.
