Overview
The Task Associate (TA) delivers operational excellence in support of sales drivers, ensuring fixtures are stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The TA supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager through performance metrics, people, and process alignment.
PrincipalDuties & Responsibilities Performance
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s retail goals by ensuring all tasks are executed as planned and product is available for purchase.
- Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and ensure the timely completion of all operational processes, including shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts.
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
- Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and the internal and external guests served.
- Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to enable continuous professional development and drive sales performance.
- Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
- Adhere to Ulta Beauty’s dress code.
- Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty’s technology and best practices.
- Drive operational excellence by keeping the assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced, and ensuring testers are available.
- Maintain outstanding store standards and overall cleanliness including sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area.
- Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
- Execute other operational tasks as directed.
- High school diploma preferred.
- 1 year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
- Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to problem solve.
Position Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule to include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
- Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
- Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shift.
- Continuous or frequent lifting, carrying, and moving up to 25 lbs. during shift.
- Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift.

Pay & BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $24.00 per hour. Eligible associates may also earn overtime pay as required by applicable law. Full‑time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Part‑time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
