Join our Smart & Final store operations team to provide excellent customer service in a warehouse‑style grocery environment. The Part‑time Retail Associate assists with stocking, merchandising, cleaning, and customer assistance in a fast‑moving retail setting.

• Read and write English; interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

• Maintain a store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, and stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Cleans and maintains sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of store and parking lot as directed.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers with store and product information.
• Assist customers loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
