The Zapara School of Business seeks a driven, relationship-oriented Graduate Recruitment Coordinator to serve in a front-line sales and recruitment role supporting enrollment growth for the External MBA Degree Program. Reporting to the Director of the Office of External Degree Programs and working in close partnership with the ZSBBusiness Development Manager, this position executes recruitment strategies, advances prospective students through the enrollment pipeline, and delivers a high-touch, results-focused applicant experience aligned with annual cohort enrollment goals.

This role requires an energetic, outgoing, and confident professional who is comfortable asking thoughtful, probing questions, listening closely, and engaging in meaningful dialogue with prospective students.

The Graduate Recruitment Coordinator will regularly interact with and build rapport across a wide range of professionals, industries, and organizational levels—using those conversations to uncover needs, build trust, and guide prospective students toward informed enrollment decisions, while collaborating with the Director and Business Development Manager to ensure strategic alignment and consistent messaging.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Applicant Recruitment & Enrollment Support
  • Execute recruitment and sales activities supporting approximately 200 new cohort enrollments annually in alignment with enrollment goals established by the Director and Business Development Manager.
  • Actively manage and convert 150–200 prospective students per year from inquiry through registration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned prospects using consultative sales techniques.
  • Maintain frequent, persuasive, and personalized follow-up to improve conversion and reduce attrition.
  • Document prospect interactions and pipeline status accurately within CRM and enrollment systems.
Outreach & Engagement
  • Conduct 40–50 documented outreach contacts per week via phone, email, text, and meetings.
  • Support six or more targeted outreach campaigns annually in conjunction with the Director and Business Development Manager.
  • Develop and publish 8–10 social media posts per month aligned with strategic recruitment priorities.
  • Draft and coordinate at least one student or alumni success story per quarter for recruitment and marketing use.
Partnership & Alumni Support
  • Support alumni engagement initiatives led by the ZSB Business Development Manager and aligned with strategic direction from the Director.
  • Assist with outreach coordination, event support, and follow-up communications with partners and alumni as assigned.
Reporting & Collaboration
  • Provide weekly written and oral recruitment activity updates to the Director.
  • Participate in regular enrollment strategy meetings with the Director and Business Development Manager to review pipeline performance and campaign effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with campus partners to resolve applicant issues and improve application workflows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Three to five years of experience in recruitment, enrollment management, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-management skills, with demonstrated comfort engaging a wide range of professionals.
  • Confidence asking thoughtful, probing questions and using active listening to guide consultative enrollment conversations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM or enrollment management systems.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Professional attire required.
  • Travel up to 50%.
  • Occasional evening and weekend availability required.
  • Seventh-day Adventist preferred.

Wage Range

$21.87 to $25.75 per Hour, plus Generous Benefits
