Job Overview

As a full‑time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will help customers explore Verizon products and services, drive retail sales, and provide exceptional customer service.

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand Verizon’s network.
• Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution.
• Close sales while communicating effectively to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store, including at off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events.

Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus up to $16,000 a year in individual‑based commissions if you hit all your sales goals. Top performers can earn additional commissions, potentially reaching a total annual income of $65,000 to $73,500.

Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Work includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, with schedule notice provided four weeks in advance. Additional shifts may be available during peak periods.

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience (work or military).
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income during peak periods.

Also valued: experience in a commission‑based environment, demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers, and customer service experience.
