What our Golf Maintenance Technician's doThe Golf Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring smooth operation, cleanliness, and safety of the mini golf course. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to repair and maintain equipment, and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. The Golf Maintenance Technician will also assist in setting up and maintaining the overall appearance of the mini golf area to ensure an enjoyable guest experience.
GolfMaintenance Technician's day-to-day
- Regularly inspect the mini golf course for wear and tear, including the turf, obstacles, signage, and paths.
- Perform necessary repairs to ensure safety and functionality. Repairs include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure proper use of machines, tools, and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with other maintenance staff and supervisors to address any larger facility maintenance needs or issues that may impact on the mini golf area.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Comply with all park policies, procedures, and labor laws.
- All other duties assigned by leadership.
- Must be 18 years or older to comply with Child Labor Laws.
- Ability to work flexible scheduled, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- General working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pumps, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and carpentry preferred.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools for repairs.
- Must provide own tools and some equipment related to mechanical trades.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work efficiently during peak and off-peak hours.
- At least 1 year in maintenance role
- Prior experience in an amusement park, recreational facility, or outdoor maintenance preferred but not required.

- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, bend, climb, or squat for long periods of time.
- Ability to remain on foot for majority of the workday.
- Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to work in all non-conventional areas of the property, including in confined spaces or above ground-level, on scaffolds and ladders.
- Ability to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/tools.
- Frequent exposure to variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, and other weather conditions.
- Subject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, vibrations, motorized equipment, and exposure to various chemicals.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.90 - $19 / hr.
