We are seeking a professional Facility Maintenance Mechanic who specializes in facility troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, locksmithing, and performing assigned facility inspections.
What You’ll Do- Perform general facility basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair including carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and locksmithing.
- Conduct periodic facility safety and regulatory inspections.
- Prepare appropriate forms and/or purchase equipment, parts, and tools.
- Respond to, initiate, and track daily facility ticket requests.
- Assemble and install office furniture, office equipment, electrical and communication components, and hang pictures and office boards.
- Fabricate and install seismic bracing and other miscellaneous materials as needed.
- Perform special event setup and breakdown including tables, chairs, room dividers, extension cords, sound system equipment, and other aesthetic components for large and small events.
- Inspect and verify emergency supplies and first aid equipment.
- Transport supplies, parts, and equipment.
- Ensure proper use of tools and assigned machinery.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with building and vendors.
- Keep stock of inventory.
- Collect and prepare e‑waste for pick‑up.
- Document work performance and material procurement using MS Office and a work‑order system.
- Perform other related Facility Maintenance Mechanic job duties as required.
- Be available for emergency and standby service with off‑shift hours or stand‑by service as required.
4/10, Monday through Thursday (6:00 am – 4:30 pm)
Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent and six years of relevant experience in maintenance and repairs, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, drywall, and electrical.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations Required- Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application)
