Position
Auto Maintenance Technician II – Group Vehicle Operations – Individual Contributor, Management Level 2 – Flexible Work Option (no remote, must work at specified Cox location). Day shift Sunday–Thursday.
CompensationHourly base rate: $26.44 - $39.71 per hour, depending on location and qualifications. Eligible for commission, incentive programs and a $7,000 new‑hire bonus (including a $1,500 tool bonus).
Responsibilities- Perform mid‑level vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools to keep vehicles safe, reliable and road‑ready.
- Diagnose and repair brake, tire, suspension, drivability, charging, starting, AC, OBDII and electrical systems.
- Complete mechanical inspections, required measurements, body, engine, drive‑line inspections, and document deficiencies.
- Comply with procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires and disposables.
- Fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
- Utilize approved vendors for parts and may be required to perform OEM recalls.
- 3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Current ASE Certification: G1, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 when required.
