Driver Class A - TS

Clean Harbors in Riverside, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and equipment at customer sites. The driver will handle vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, roll offs, box trucks, and trailers, performing driving and non‑driving duties associated with hazardous waste clean‑up.

• Class A CDL required;
  Hazmat endorsement mandatory (tanker endorsement obtained upon hire)
• Sign on bonus of $7,000
• High‑hour overtime; 5 AM start, 10‑12 hr days
• Home every night; occasional weekend work

• Ensure health and safety by following all safe work practices, policies, and procedures
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks and perform manual labor on site to meet customer needs
• Load and unload trucks; maintain proper placarding to meet company and DOT requirements
• Maintain daily logs, timesheets, and various reports
• Follow all local, state (provincial), and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Observe all corporate and environmental health and safety guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned, including on‑call emergency response rotating every other week
• Conduct site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials

• Valid Class A CDL
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment
• Proficiency with mobile devices
• Physical capability to perform job functions
• Successful completion of background check, drug test, and physical examination
• Compliance with OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard (face‑hair requirement)

• Commercial driver experience
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Previous Hazmat experience
• Ability to operate a manual transmission
• Previous manual labor experience
