Position Summary

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. The Associate also counts, inspects, and notifies leadership of damages or discrepancies, and performs all duties required for the safe and efficient operation of equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Picking Responsibilities:
    Using a pallet jack, accurately pick orders, stage, stack, package, band, shrink‑wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements. All picking functions are processed per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Quality Control Responsibilities:
    Using documented procedures to verify orders meet quality standards, reporting damages or discrepancies, and performing packaging, shrink‑wrapping, and labeling.
  • Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance:
    Execute all safety protocols, maintain a clean and orderly facility, and comply with Standard Operating Procedures, corporate, site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS standards.
  • Equipment Operation:
    Operate pallet jack and maintain equipment, reporting problems, and using equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintenance:
    Assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
  • Other Duties:
    Work overtime as dictated by business and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:

    None.
Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • Education:

    High school diploma or GED.
  • Work

    Conditions:

    Ability to work in unregulated temperatures during warmer and colder months (mild to moderate).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
  • None.
Skills, Knowledge And Abilities
  • Language:
    English (reading, writing, verbal).
  • Mathematical:
    Basic to intermediate skills to verify quantities, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
  • Other:
    Strong attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, and adaptability to change in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
  • Current or prior MHE certification.
Physical Demands
  • Occasionally:
    Handling/Fingering, Sitting.
  • Frequently:
    Bending.
  • Constantly:
    Walking and Standing.
  • Lift/Carry and Push/Pull: 21–50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
Work Environment

Minimal exposure to fumes or airborne particles; noise level low to moderate.

Compensation

Expected base pay range: $17.00 – $24.52 per hour, with compensation determined by experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
