Position SummaryThe General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. They count and inspect product, notify leadership of damages or discrepancies, operate equipment safely, and perform duties in accordance with policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders, stage, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products per client requirements.
- Perform quality control: verify that products and orders meet quality standards, report damages or discrepancies, and document processes.
- Execute safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, maintain equipment, and report problems.
- Assist in maintenance of equipment and facility as assigned.
- Work overtime if required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, completing tasks promptly.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast‑paced environment.
- English reading, writing, and verbal skills.
- Basic to intermediate math skills for verifying quantities.
- Six months experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Occasionally handling/fingering and sitting.
- Frequently bending.
- Constantly walking and standing; lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 21–50 pounds; reaching above shoulder, outward, squatting, or kneeling.
The noise level is low to moderate. Employees are rarely exposed to fumes or chemicals. The workspace is a standard warehouse setting.
Compensation & BenefitsBase pay range $17.00 to $24.52 per hour, determined by experience and location.
