H&H USA is seeking a highly capable and hands‑on Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our growing business. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, this role will be responsible for accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, human resources administration, cash management, compliance, and operational support. The Financial Controller will directly supervise one accounting team member responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
This position is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where they can have a direct impact on business performance and decision‑making.
- Manage all day‑to‑day accounting operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Report monthly and quarterly financials to the Global Group CFO/CEO.
- Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Monitor company performance against budget and key financial targets.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital requirements.
- Maintain vendor, insurance, HR, banking and financial institution relationships.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Coordinate annual tax filings and work with external CPA firm.
- Oversee sales/use tax and other governing body needs.
- Complete monthly / quarterly tax filing for H&H’s e‑commerce platforms.
- Support annual audits and financial reviews.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
- Administer payroll and employee benefit programs.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
- Coordinate annual benefit renewals and employee communications.
- Assist leadership with compensation planning and HR‑related initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Support inventory, inventory audit observation, and operational management and reporting.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Assist with insurance, legal, and risk management activities.
This role is expected to grow in responsibility as the company continues to expand both domestically and internationally.
Qualifications Required- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
- Five or more years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management.
- Experience managing payroll, sales/use tax, income tax and HR administration.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
