Furniture Delivery Assistant

We're looking for a dependable and hard‑working Furniture Delivery Assistant to join our growing team! This is a full‑time role ideal for someone who enjoys physical, hands‑on work, takes pride in excellent service, and thrives in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.

The role involves assisting the lead delivery driver with preparing, loading, and delivering high‑quality furniture to customers in the Kansas City area. You will also support our in‑store visual design team by moving furniture and displays inside the showroom, and occasionally assist with off‑site events for our Interior Design team.

• Assist with daily furniture deliveries throughout the Kansas City metro area
• Inspect, wrap, and stage items for safe delivery
• Help load and unload delivery trucks
• Provide in‑home furniture assembly as needed for larger pieces
• Communicate with customers and team members in a clear, professional manner
• Assist with moving and staging furniture inside the store to support the visual merchandising team
• Support the store's Design Team with setup and transport for off‑site events and presentations
• Keep delivery and warehouse areas clean, organized, and efficient
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures

• Able to lift and maneuver 75+ pounds and handle large, bulky items
• Physically active—comfortable standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude and strong communication skills
• Calm and adaptable under pressure
• Willing to learn, take direction, and grow with the company
• Highly organized and attentive to detail
• Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, or furniture handling is a plus (but not required)
