The Production Scheduler is responsible for preparing/updating the production plan to satisfy customer requirements while carrying minimum effective inventory levels.
Responsibilities- Prepare Weekly Production Schedule
- Maintain a LEAN manufacturing culture
- Liaise between production & Shipping
- Plan and schedule overtime & determine labor capacity
- Engineering Change Activities and all APQP related activities as required
- Participate in Quality Audits
- College courses in Business/ Supply Chain Management related discipline
- Strong communicator in the English language, both written and oral
- Experience using MRP / ERP systems
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (APICS, CPIM) preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- High level of time management, problem solving and analysis skills, and strong negotiation skills with the ability to reason and influence at all levels
