Job Description

This position will train for at least three (3) weeks on our 1st shift, Monday‑Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Once fully trained, the employee will be moved to the 2nd shift, Monday‑Thursday 4:45 pm to 3:15 am.

Salary: $18–23 / hour, depending on experience.

Essential Functions
  • Receive and process incoming material/inventory.
  • Place materials in proper locations as designated.
  • Organize “first in, first out.”
  • Understand goods receipt, labels, and cure dates.
  • Issue/transfer materials to the floor and keep all cells adequately stocked.
  • Input data in computer, process migo’s and transfer of data.
  • Ensure correct parts are handed out to each work cell.
  • Perform hazardous waste management duties as necessary; annual hazardous waste management will be completed.
  • Support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
  • Understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
  • Understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
  • Understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.

    • Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Knowledge of basic computer systems.
    • Must be qualified and certified to operate a forklift and stand up.

    • Basic knowledge of quantitative methods, statistical procedures, and graphic skills.

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment

    The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, including noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt, etc. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

    Wage:
    The anticipated wage scale in Riverside, MO is $18.00–$23.00 per hour. The final pay offered will depend on experience, industry, and education. Benefits include group health, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance; a 401(k) plan; 80 hours of vacation leave; 10 paid holidays plus 2 personal holidays; 6 weeks of paid parental leave; and eligibility to purchase company stock.
