Warehouse Associate – Riverside MO

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) Established in 2006, Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a subsidiary of GSF, is a custom last-mile distribution company specializing in tailored solutions for selected food service Industry customers. Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, QCD services thousands of restaurants throughout the United States. Providing over 37,000 deliveries a week from 25 strategically located distribution centers, the QCD fleet averages more than 40 million miles driven per year.

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols

• Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely
• Secure pallets for shipment and verify shipping documentation
• Assist dock operations including staging and organizing shipments

• Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred

• Forklift certification and at least 6 months of safe operation experience preferred

• Valid forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation
• Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
• Use a voice‑directed picking system (VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders

• Full-time, on‑site in a temperature‑controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer:
  
  -5 °F to 38 °F)
• Primarily a 4‑day work week, with shifts typically starting between 6:30 AM
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

• $22.22/hour or salary range is preferred
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
