Torch is seeking a talented Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support our customers at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).
Job Responsibilities- Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability for complex systems.
- Develop and maintain system architectures, designs, and interface control documents.
- Conduct system-level testing, verification, and validation activities.
- Participate in trade studies, risk assessments, and technical reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and test engineers.
- Support the integration and testing of system components and subsystems.
- Document technical specifications, test plans, and project reports.
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools where applicable.
- Provide technical support and expertise throughout the system development lifecycle.
- US Citizenship.
- Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 6-10+ years of experience in systems engineering.
- Familiarity with systems engineering processes (e.g., requirements management, architecture definition, verification and validation).
- Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI.
Schedule: M‑F; 8‑5
