Under the close supervision of the Director of Faculty Development and the Chief Financial and Administrative Office in the School of Medicine (SOM), the Education Administrative Fellow will perform administrative and analytical duties in support of SOM educational and administrative operations. Fellows participate in projects and activities that build and strengthen essential administrative skills. The duration of the position is 12 months.
Fellows for academic year 2026/2027 will rotate to three departments on a four‑month rotation. Fellows are assigned at random and not guaranteed a specific department. Fellows will complete projects during their rotation and attend monthly didactic sessions. The position may require variable hours, including nights and weekends.

Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. - Master’s degree required in one of the following or equivalent:
Master of Education, Master of Educational Leadership, Master of Health Administration, Master of Business Administration, Master of Public Health, or other equivalent degree. - Business coursework in Accounting/Finance, Operations, and Business Administration required.
- Experience
: 0–1 year of related experience. - Minimum requirements
:- Skills to learn organization‑specific and other computer application programs.
- Knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques.
- Ability to analyze and research information, synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail.
- Basic program and project management skills.
- Ability to function as a member of a team.
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Broad customer service orientation and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a high‑volume environment.
- Sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
