Hiring Range: $45.00 - $85.00/Hourly. Actual pay is determined by temporary commitment and business needs.

The Radiological Technologist in a hospital setting is responsible for performing radiology exams on patients as requested by the referring physicians. Performs all radiology exams and procedures in accordance with RHS policy and procedures. Performs patient preparation and explanation of exams, responds to patient questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process, and completes all associated patient and equipment screening and technical documentation.

• Assist radiologists in performing radiologic imaging procedures.
• Select proper protocol to obtain optimal images and provide clinical documentation per scope of practice.
• Work with a high degree of safety and quality, preventing or reducing harms through knowledge and application of policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Prepare equipment, instrumentation, and departmental supplies required to support quality patient care.
• Follow ALARA principles according to policy.
• Understand and adhere to all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards.
• Report variances.
• Coordinate patient care and perform effective assessment, actions, and documentation.
• Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure non-interruption of services.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multi‑task, organized, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience: 2 years Registered Radiologic Technologist experience with C‑arm and O‑arm. (Required)

• Radiologic Technologist – The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (Required) upon hire.
• CPR/BLS Certification – American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required) upon hire.

• Call rotation.
• Weekend shifts.
• Irregular shifts.
