OVERVIEW
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate, patient-centered care by assessing needs, creating care plans, and administering treatments and medications. You’ll work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure patient safety, improve outcomes, and support patients and their families throughout their care journey. This role also offers opportunities to use critical thinking, contribute to quality improvement efforts, and mentor fellow healthcare professionals.
Schedule:
36 hours per week. Shift: Nights.
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws practice act.
- Document according to standards of care.
- Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
- Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by a physician and/or clinic policy, including patient and family instruction.
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
- Utilize clinical expertise and guidance to other units’ departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
- Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command.
- Participate in the professional nursing continuum process, unit practice activities and decisions, and peer review process.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred. May require specific years of applicable experience to qualify (per department guidelines).
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE- Licensed as an RN in the state of practice.
- Approved CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.
- Other certification(s) per unit requirements (e.g., ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP).

PAY RANGE$34.45 – $51.68
