Newport News,Virginia – Warwick Forest Lifelong Health and Rehab is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). All part‑time and full‑time LPNs hired will receive a $4,000 sign‑on bonus.

• Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor, and ultimately report to the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Quality Care Management.
• Monitor residents, participate in planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care, and provide emotional and physical comfort and safety for residents and their families.
• Assist with the supervision of auxiliary personnel.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to provider orders.
• Allow resident choices within safety and dignity limits, following facility policies and procedures.
• Assign duties to non‑professional staff such as CNAs based on education, training, policy and resident needs.
• Engage team members for optimal performance and address performance issues as needed.
• Participate in administering medications, treatments, monitoring and observation of resident care.
• Identify changes in condition and document properly according to nursing standards.
• Demonstrate consistent follow‑through to promote positive resident outcomes.
• Utilize good judgment and specialized skills.

• Less than 1 year of nursing experience (preferred).
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from the Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) – required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety and Health Institute – required within 30 days of hire.
