Overview
This nursing position provides direct patient care by assessing patients, administering medications and treatments, developing individualized care plans, and documenting care according to nursing standards. The nurse works closely with the healthcare team to promote patient safety, support quality improvement efforts, and deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
Schedule and Shift36 hours per week, Day shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws.
- Document care according to standards of care.
- Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
- Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care based on individualized needs, as prescribed by physician or clinic policy, including patient and family instruction.
- Participate in department or unit performance‑improvement activities, including shared governance.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units or departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
- Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, and appropriately escalates to the chain of command.
- Participate in the professional nursing continuum process, unit practice activities, and peer review.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred. Experience may be required per department guidelines.
Certification and LicensureLicensed as an RN in the state of practice. CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days. Other certifications may be required per unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP).

PayPay range: 34.45 – 51.68 per hour.
