Installation Technician, Field/Service Technician, Telecoms Engineering
Merc Audio LLC is expanding our Internet and Networking Division and is seeking motivated Fiber Splicers and General Installers to join our growing team. We design and deploy high-performance fiber optic and network infrastructure for live events, corporate environments, commercial facilities, and broadband installations. Our projects include fiber optic backbone deployment, structured cabling, enterprise Wi-Fi, AV-over-IP networks, temporary ISP services, and high-capacity event networking that supports mission-critical communications.

- Perform fusion and mechanical splicing and testing.
- Install network equipment and access points.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Assist with testing and commissioning as part of network deployments.
The ideal candidate will have experience with fiber optic cable installation, mechanical and fusion splicing, structured cabling, and network infrastructure deployment, although we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with OTDR testing, Ethernet networking, commercial construction, or low-voltage systems is a plus.

- RJ 45 Termination
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Must be able to work any shift
- Ability to distinguish colors in use of color-coded cable
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and capable of working aloft
- Ability to successfully complete required safety training
- High School Degree or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass drug screens and background checks
- Installation experience in telecommunications or IT field
- Able to follow instructions
- Professionally represent and protect the interest of Merc Audio LLC in all interactions with customers, vendors, employees
Employment with Merc Audio LLC is contingent upon successful completion of drug and background screening (including MVR).
