Job Description Summary
Monday - Friday, 3pm to 11:30pm
The associate in this position will be responsible for maintenance of the garages, flat lots and parking offices.
Responsibilities And DutiesDriving is an essential function of the job.
- 30%:
Garage and Lot Maintenance – street sweeping, removing trash, repainting parking lines and other duties as needed. - 30%:
Parking Equipment Maintenance – repair parking equipment such as ticket spitters, auto cashiers, barrier gates, etc. - 10%:
Snow Removal – remove snow and spread salt in parking garages; call for additional help as necessary. - 5%:
Shuttle Preparation – prepare shuttles for operation (check tires, warm vehicles, etc.). - 5%:
Customer Service – assist patrons exiting parking facilities with the call center and Protective Services, resolve difficulties using auto cashiers. - 20%:
Traffic Direction – direct traffic in shuttle lots during early morning and assist in shuttle rotation as needed.
High School or GED (Required).
DL – Driver’s License (Department of Motor Vehicles).
AdditionalJob Description
State Driver’s License. Clean driving record (less than four points). Ability to make sound judgments and prioritize work, be able to drive street sweeper and snow plow. Also be familiar with FAPD parking equipment (or similar equipment). At least 2 years in parking industry or similar maintenance position.
