Contract Management and Vendor Relations Intern (one year - part time)

Looking for a bright, hardworking, and independent individual to fill a one-year,committed,paid intern position immediately. The Strategic Technology Vendor Relations (STVR) teamis responsible for engaging with Technology vendors to support the Church's contracting, services, and relationship needs. Interns are responsible for reviewing

Low-Cost Software contracts, processing staff requests, and supporting other projects as deemed important for Intern support.

This position is primarily for educational or religious purposes and should be used to provide valuable educational experiences for the Intern. It is to give the Intern an opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in their educational institutions are applied inanactual work setting. Under general supervision, the Intern performs work as assigned by the department.

The hours worked must beduring normal working hours, Monday through Friday. Hours worked will not exceed 20 hours per week.

The intern will report directly to their hiring manager butmay be involved in projects with multiple team members.

The internship will provide experience with Technology contractingandprocurement.

The position is working with the STVR team with officeslocatedat the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City, UT or the Riverton Office Buildingin Riverton, UT. The intern’s working location isanticipatedtobe at the Riverton Office Building.

Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on department and need. The intern receives assignments from STVR team members. Work is reviewed by the supervisor and, at times, by the team manager.

Interns are expected to do the following:

Meet rigid and challenging deadlines

Work in harmony with other people

Follow explicit direction on each assignment

Give full attention to detail sand be a quick learner

Demonstrate independence in working on given assignments, yet proactive in seeking direction and assignments from team members

Demonstrate a willingness to learn and master new processes and systems

Exercise sound judgment of Church doctrine, organization,policyand protocol

Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation.
