Who We Are

At Sylvan Learning Center in Riverton, we don't just prep students for a test, we build confidence that lasts well beyond test day. Our center is growing, and we're looking for sharp, energetic educators who love watching students have that "I've got this" moment.

• Deliver personalized, engaging ACT prep instruction across English, Math, Reading, and Science
• Teach practical test-taking strategies that help students work smarter and more confidently
• Track each student's progress and adjust your approach to meet their individual needs
• Keep center staff in the loop with clear, consistent communication
• Show up as a positive, encouraging presence that students actually look forward to seeing

• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress (education, STEM, English, or related field preferred)
• Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of ACT content and format
• Reliable, organized, and genuinely student-focused
• A communicator who connects well with teenagers

This role is built around student schedules, so flexibility is key. We're looking for candidates who can offer 2+ hour blocks of availability, 2–3 times per week, typically during after‑school hours, evenings, and/or weekends. If your availability shifts from semester to semester, let's talk. We're used to working with educators who juggle multiple commitments.

• $16–$18/hour, commensurate with experience
• Flexible part‑time hours that work around your schedule too
