Saint Andrew Catholic School, located in Riverton, UT, is a values‑based Pre‑K through 8th grade school with a small, close‑knit student body. The teacher is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing an effective instructional program within a positive learning environment that encourages students to develop and achieve their academic potential. This position operates under the supervision of the principal.

• Demonstrate preparedness and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic, and ability backgrounds.
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that promote active learning and align with diocesan and state standards.
• Establish and clearly communicate learning objectives for all instructional activities.
• Observe, evaluate and document student performance and development.
• Assign and assess classwork, homework, tests, and other learning tasks.
• Integrate relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction in alignment with the blended learning model.
• Manage classroom behavior by establishing and enforcing clear rules and procedures.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies and expectations.
• Monitor and support individual student progress, using data to adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Communicate effectively and regularly with students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and needs.
• Participate collaboratively in department, school, diocesan, and parent meetings.
