Job Description
The Behavior Analyst – EIBI assesses needs and develops behavior plans with a focus on skill building. The Behavior Analyst functions in a supervisory role and implements direct clinical care services. Responsible for overseeing programming, training and supporting Registered Behavior Technicians, and training family members in the implementation of behavior plans.
Job Specifics- Pay Range: $35.25 - $54.39 Exempt

Full time - Shift: 40hrs per week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
- This role requires a 60 day credentialing process that must be successfully completed prior to selected candidates start date.

Essential Functions- Function in a supervisory capacity and provide oversight to all areas of programming including the training of registered behavior technicians (RBT).
- Applied Behavior Analysis:
Assist in the development, facilitation, and follow-up training in Applied Behavior Analysis skills assessment and intervention techniques. Use a variety of evidence‑based skill acquisition techniques to teach appropriate behavior and reduce maladaptive behaviors. Keep current with the literature, new research findings, crisis management prevention and intervention techniques through continuing education and professional association meetings. Responsible for graphing, analyzing data and making database decisions on client progress. - Instruction and Training:
Provide model teaching and other direct instructional supports including, but not limited to, practicum supervision/teaching, class instruction and in‑service instruction to other support professionals. Provide ongoing support and training to RBTs and other individuals in support roles for families. - Direct Clinical Care Services:
Develop behavior plans/treatment plans for all consumers with a focus on teaching and other antecedent strategies for reducing challenging behavior. Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for clients and their families. Sign off on behavior plan/treatment plan training for all field staff and provide field supervision when necessary. Maintain all data, paperwork, and communication between personal care staff and families in accordance with HIPAA requirements. - Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master-level degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
- Current Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst Certification
- Licensure in the state of Utah or able to obtain prior to hire
- 1 year experience implementing ABA‑based skills assessment and intervention procedures.
- Ability to demonstrate essential BCBA job duties.
- Previous experience with data‑based staff improvement projects
- Experience with billing accepted payor codes in Utah, interacting with payors for authorization and credentialing clinic needs.
- Previous experience working with children with autism and related disabilities.
- Spanish Speaking
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, labels, monitors, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc. Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
