Chrysalis is seeking a full‑time or part‑time Residential Care Manager for in‑home caregiving. Summary of ResponsibilitiesAs House Manager, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the residential program, supervise, instruct, model, and assist residential support staff, enforce quality standards, implement person‑centered plans, and coordinate with schools, state workers, families, therapists, court and residential placement staff. You will ensure staff ratios and training are met, support residents’ medical, financial, and recreational needs, and promote the five Chrysalis values:
Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring, and Accountability.
- 20 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Experience in the disability field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated supervisory experience, ability to prioritize work, and complete program documentation accurately and timely
- Good judgment and ability to handle crisis situations
- Good public relations skills with outside professionals and state employees
- Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs
- Ability to manage personnel and program issues and continually improve program quality and profitability
- Experience working with handicapped individuals
- Knowledge of person‑centered plans and ability to develop effective goals
- Supervisory experience with employees
- Understanding of DSPD policies
- Strong judgment and crisis management skills
- Clear general writing skills and oral communication
- Ability to handle personnel issues positively
- Conduct house meetings and attend manager meetings
- Computer skills
- Flexible schedule to accommodate people’s needs
- Financial statement balance and maintenance of financial folders
