Job Description

Contract manufacturer seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on assembly line machinery and general production equipment. This role involves working with a small maintenance team to ensure smooth operations and facility upkeep, utilizing standard hand and power tools as well as fabrication tools. • Diagnose root causes of manufacturing equipment breakdowns and restore functionality promptly
• Perform preventive maintenance, including disassembly, assembly, and mechanical/electrical adjustments on production equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, blueprints, and related documentation
• Manage inventory of spare parts and wear items to ensure availability
• Conduct emergency repairs after hours as required
• Design and fabricate basic parts or equipment components
• Keep work area clean and safe following lock out/tag out and other safety procedures
• Support facility maintenance tasks to uphold operational standards
