Quality Engineer Legacy Molding Corporation

Legacy Molding is currently seeking dedicated individuals for the following positions:

Provides the needed technical assistance to the quality team by initiating root cause analysis investigations, calibrating inspection equipment, and conducting first article inspections.

• Creates and maintains in-process inspection documents and files
• Manages, performs, and maintains first article inspections and capability studies
• Sources, maintains, and calibrates inspection equipment
• Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) investigations
• Record reconciliation
• Performs tool validations
• Leads group in root cause analysis investigations
• Compiles and evaluates inspection results
• Regularly coordinates with other departments
• Other duties assigned by the Quality Manager

• Good interpersonal skills and a team player
• Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis
• Bachelors’ degree in statistics or equivalent work experience preferred, but not required
• Quality certification desired, but not required
• Intermediate computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office products
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
• Experience with reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Experience in technical writing

Wages: Starting at $24/hr, depending on experience and qualifications

Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. They must also be able to demonstrate attention to detail, general familiarity with computers, and aptitude to learn new skills.
