DKA Construction is seeking an experienced and driven
Business Development Manager
to help expand our presence in the commercial construction market. We specialize in
metal stud framing, drywall, rough carpentry, painting, and acoustical ceilings
for commercial and industrial projects throughout Utah.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong industry relationships and a proven track record of generating new business opportunities.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, property owners, architects, and industry partners.
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities within the commercial construction market.
- Attend networking events, industry meetings, and pre-bid conferences.
- Coordinate with estimating and operations teams to ensure smooth project pursuits.
- Track leads, opportunities, and client interactions within CRM systems.
- Assist in developing strategic growth plans and market expansion initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, upcoming projects, and competitive activity.
- Represent the company professionally and uphold our reputation for quality and service.
- 3+ years of business development, sales, or project management experience in commercial construction.
- Existing relationships within the Utah construction industry preferred.
- Knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall, rough carpentry, painting, and acoustical ceiling scopes is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, networking, and presentation skills.
- Ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into awarded projects.
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.

We're looking for someone who already has relationships with general contractors and developers and understands how subcontractors successfully win work in the commercial construction industry. The ideal candidate is comfortable meeting new clients, building long-term partnerships, and helping drive sustainable growth.
Location:Based out of Salt Lake City, but will have to travel to meet with clients around Utah.
