Sprinkler Technician – High-Performance Role (Earn $35–$45+/hr Without Running a Business)
If you’re a solid sprinkler tech but have zero interest in running your own company, keep reading.
Most techs hit a ceiling:
- Either underpaid working for someone else
- Or stressed out trying to run their own thing
This role gives you a third option:
Make strong money inside a system that actually works.
What This Job Actually Is
This is a performance-driven technician role inside a structured, dialed-in system.
You show up, run jobs, do clean work, and get paid well for it.
You are NOT:
- Chasing leads
- Pricing jobs
- Dealing with business headaches
- Trying to “figure it out” every day
We handle all of that.
You focus on what you’re good at:
Diagnosing, fixing, and moving efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose sprinkler issues accurately (no guessing, no part swapping)
- Repair heads, valves, manifolds, and lines
- Troubleshoot electrical (timers, solenoids, wiring)
- Perform startups, repairs, and small upgrades
- Document work clearly and communicate professionally
This is real technician work, not just swapping heads all day.
How You Get Paid (Read This Carefully)
This is NOT a “drag the day out and get paid anyway” job.
This is a performance role:
- Efficient techs make more
- Clean work = more pay
- No callbacks = more pay
- Strong reviews = more pay
Base: $30–$35/hr
With performance: Most techs land $35–$40/hr
Top performers: $40–$45+/hr
If you’re fast, accurate, and take pride in your work, you will make good money here.
If you need guaranteed high hourly regardless of output, this is not for you.

Who This Is NOT For
- You want to start your own sprinkler company
- You want to price your own jobs
- You resist systems or direction
- You expect top pay without performance
- You cut corners or create callbacks
If that’s you, this won’t be a fit.
Requirements

- Ability to work independently within a system

All work is within Salt Lake County.
