Irrigation Technician — Legacy Sprinklers (Salt Lake County)
Hourly + bonuses. No sales quotas. No admin. No guesswork.
Who We AreLegacy Sprinklers is Salt Lake County's premium sprinkler repair and service company — nominated for Best of SLC 2026 after just one year in business. We built our reputation on flat-rate pricing, fast response times, and technicians who show up knowing exactly what to do and how to do it right.
We're not a franchise. We're not a "hang your shingle and figure it out" shop. Every job is scoped before you arrive, every process is documented, and every technician is paid fairly for the work they actually do — not for how well they can sell.
Who We WantYou're a skilled technician who wants to do great work and go home. You're not chasing your own book of business, you're not interested in running the admin side of a trade, and you don't want to spend your evenings quoting jobs or chasing invoices. You want:
- Clear scope, clear expectations, clear pay
- A company that has already solved the problems you're tired of solving yourself
- To be excellent at your craft without carrying the weight of owning it
If that's you, keep reading.
What You GetReal, transparent pay. Hourly wage from your first job to your last — no commission pressure, no upselling required. Your paycheck doesn't depend on how well you close.
Mileage reimbursement
, calculated automatically by GPS — no logging miles yourself, no guessing, no disputes.
Job incentives, great work gets recognized and paid, directly.
Systems that do the thinking for you. Every job comes pre-scoped. Every step — from arrival to wrap-up — is documented so you're never guessing what's expected. If something falls outside scope, the office handles it. You focus on the work in front of you.
A real path forward. Growth here means becoming the best technician in the market — not becoming a business owner. Lead tech roles, higher hourly rates, and more responsibility are available to techs who prove it in the field.

Most shops hand you a truck and a phone number and call it training. We hand you a system — one that's already been refined, tested, and proven to work — so you can walk into every job knowing exactly what "done right" looks like. You bring the skill and the work ethic. We handle the rest.
