Employment Opportunity — Recreation Site Supervisor for Start Smart, Pickleball, and Street Hockey

Riverton City is currently seeking qualified applicants for the following part-time seasonal position: youth pickleball instructor, Start Smart Instructor, and Street Hockey Site Supervisor to work as a youth sports coordinator.

Youth pickleball is scheduled to begin in May and go through September. May and September will be in the late afternoon. June, July, and August will be in the morning. Start Smart Program is scheduled to begin April 28 and end May 20, and will take place every Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Street Hockey is set to start in September and end in October, and will take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Successful candidates will have a basic knowledge of various sports, excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and work with children between the ages of 3 and 6 and their parents. Duties include, but are not limited to, organizing, supervising, and instructing a sports camp and its participants.

• Experience preferred but not necessary
• Applicants must be 16 years of age and up
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (if older than 18)
• Must pass a pre-employment drug and background screen (if older than 18)

$17.00 per hour

• Start Smart — Days:
  Tuesday and Wednesday;
  Time: 4:30-7:30 pm
• Youth Pickleball — May and September:
  Days:
  Monday and Thursday;
  Time: 4:00-6:00 pm. June–August:
  Days:
  Tuesday and Thursday;
  Time: 8:00-11:00 am (up to 15 hours per week)
• Street Hockey — September and October:
  Days:
  Monday and Wednesday;
  Time: 4:00-8:00 pm (up to 15 hours per week)
