Arin Emmert, a 2007 graduate of Creighton University with a B.S.B.A. in entrepreneurial management and a minor in Spanish, brings a fresh perspective and a dynamic approach to the business. Her experience includes working with Toyota Motor Sales and managing various roles within our family’s dealerships before taking the helm of the company.
Under Arin’s leadership, Fremont Motor Company oversees 13 locations in Wyoming, representing a range of brands including Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, GMC, Honda, Jeep, Ram, Toyota, and Volkswagen. The GM Certified Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of General Motors vehicles by performing expert diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. This position requires a deep understanding of GM vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled components, to accurately identify and resolve issues. The technician will work closely with service advisors and customers to communicate findings and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
By adhering to GM’s standards and utilizing the latest diagnostic tools and technology, the technician helps maintain customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overall success of the dealership or service center by delivering high-quality workmanship and efficient service turnaround times.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working on automotive repair and maintenance, preferably with GM vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and software specific to GM vehicles.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications.
- Experience with hybrid and electric GM vehicles.
- Completion of advanced GM technical training programs.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor junior technicians.
