Summary/Objective The Director is responsible for the Leadership and Operations of the Center of Hope alcohol crisis center. Responsibilities include ensuring program compliance with policies and procedures, staffing and human resource management, business planning, risk management, and client services.
Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Establish and maintain community relationships to promote program advocacy; represent the organization in the community
Ensure facilities comply with fire, safety, and health department standards at all times
Ensure facilities and programs comply with certification and accreditation requirements
Responsible for assisting the Development Team in fundraising efforts for the program
Provide leadership in areas of staff management, training, and performance
Participate in the organization's business planning and annual budget preparation
Evaluate performance/census reports and results of the performance of the facilities about established goals.
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve the efficiency of services performed continually
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies
Responsible for understanding, working within, and adjusting the program budget
Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility This position has direct supervisory responsibilities and may serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the organization.
Work Environment This job operates in a recovery facility environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers, and smartphones.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This job's specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This would require lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel Occasional travel is expected for this position; within the vicinity for advocacy and travel to the Sheridan Administrative offices.
Required Education, Experience, or Eligibility Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Behavioral Science, or related field, plus five years of management and supervisory experience.
