NTB and Tire Kingdom are proud to join the Mavis Tire family. We are looking for full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Riverview, FL area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Mechanic

As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers  vehicles. They perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts and shocks, complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires.

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles across a range of undercar systems.
• Perform brakes, struts and shocks work, and other undercar repairs.
• Complete state inspections and routine maintenance (oil/filters, fluid checks, part replacements).
• Dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to company policies.

• Be at least 18 years of age (or as required by law);
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States;
• Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates ability to perform duties;
• Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.

Preferred: state inspection license(s); ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Active position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive movements. Mechanics must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
